In the following article, we've put together a handy guide to make your Easter getaway truly perfect. Thanks to the campsite and resort village facilities, packing is no big deal! We show you what to pack for your Easter camping trip and what you can safely leave at home. Get ready for adventure!
This year again, there are plenty of activities to enjoy in Siófok during the upcoming Easter long weekend. While Lake Balaton and camping offer endless tranquillity and refreshment, the city offers its usual hustle and bustle.
- Húsvéti Nyuladalom (Easter Celebrations) will feature four days of music, sports, traditional and children's activities. V-tech, Csaba Vastag, and Korál will give a grand concert. The programmes run from 10 am to 10 pm.
- On Nagystrand (Great Beach), you'll find the Ferris wheel, snow tubing track, a straw maze, bumper cars (dodgem) and an awesome playground.
- And in the Main Square, there will be other permanent activities. Among other things, there will be a craft market, a wide range of gastronomic delights, an Easter playground, craft activities and a playmobil exhibition and fair.

What to bring for your Easter camping trip
- Layered clothing: When packing your suitcase, think about all-day trips! A soft sweater is still nice in the morning chill. Bring a light windbreaker with you, handy if you're planning a boat trip. The spring sunshine often reminds us of the summer heat, so don't leave the short-sleeved T-shirts and looser dresses at home.
- Comfortable shoes: An essential accessory for walks in Siofok and camping sports. Explore the area's well-kept parks and villas with their old-world charm.
- Egg painting kit and perfume for "Easter Sprinkling": A family long weekend is a real gift! You don't have to give up the Easter spirit just because you're away from home. It can even make the holiday more relaxing.
- Volleyball: Feel free to use the sports fields of the campsite and holiday resort. Bring your own ball and organise your own little tournament with your friends or even with the residents of the apartment next door. Camping can also be a community experience!
- Extension cord: The price of the pitch includes electricity connection, so you do not have to pay an extra fee. If you want to use it, bring an extension cord!
- Bathing suit: A spring splash? Why not? Some people can't resist Lake Balaton even in winter, and especially in April! For the rest of us, there's the heated adventure pool of the campsite and holiday resort!
- Toiletries and medical kit: In addition to basic toiletries such as a toothbrush, shower gel, and shampoo, the kit should include sunscreen, band-aids, and any regularly taken medications and vitamins. Include a beauty mask in the package, because there will definitely be an opportunity for some me-time at the campsite.
- Camping equipment: If you're coming with a caravan, bring your own amenities. Camping chairs, sun loungers, perhaps decorative items such as mood lighting. You can also bring your cooler and your favourite camping utensils and a few cooking pots.

If you arrive in a caravan or motorhome:

- Camping pot: If you'd find it cosy to use sitting outside your caravan, feel free to bring it, but it's fine if you don't have one. Both the communal kitchen and outdoor cooking areas are at your disposal.

- Boredom? If you have left your games at home, don't panic! There's a playground, mini-golf, mega chess and many other fun activities at the accommodation.

- Suncool apartments: Modern, compact, well-spaced small houses where everything is designed for your comfort.
